PRCAP Subscriber Terms & Conditions

PR Crisis Assurance Protection (PRCAP) Coverage, by Judge Public Relations
PR Crisis Assurance Protection (PRCAP) is not an insurance plan. It is an exclusive benefit provided for PRCAP Subscribers and is a service provided by Judge Public Relations. PRCAP is designed to provide Subscribers and their businesses with public relations support for crises and to prevent or respond to potential negative coverage by the news media at a discounted rate based on the expectation that such instances are not common.

PRCAP Subscriptions provide each Subscriber business with support for up to one (1) crisis incident per Subscription year without additional fees beyond the monthly subscription amount (see additional terms and conditions below).

Subscription, and Other Policies

Subscriber Eligibility
One (1) Subscription is allowed per business location. All applications for, and renewals of Subscription are subject to the acceptance by Judge Public Relations.

Subscriber Benefits
PRCAP benefits entitle the Subscriber and their business to receive up to Twenty (20) hours of public relations support from Judge Public Relations for One (1) crisis incident per year. Additional public relations support for crises beyond the first incident, can be provided upon request at a discounted rate of $1,900 per incident, limited to Twenty (20) hours of public relations support per incident (normally a minimum of $5,900 per incident without PRCAP coverage).

Subscription Limitations
PRCAP benefits cover up to the first 20 hours of services provided by Judge Public Relations per crisis incident (most crises can be appropriately responded to and handled within the 20 hour coverage limitation). Additional assistance from Judge Public Relations can be provided, but will be provided at an additional expense, to be determined and agreed to by both parties at such time.

PRCAP Benefit Effective Period & Term
PRCAP benefits become effective 48 hours after subscribing to a PRCAP Coverage plan and shall continue for a period of One (1) year. After the expiration of the first term, you are agreeing that this agreement will automatically renew for successive One (1) year terms indefinitely, until the term is either cancelled by the Subscriber or in the event it is cancelled by Judge Public Relations.

Subscription Renewal Policy
Your PRCAP yearly Subscription will automatically renew each year until the coverage is canceled. You must notify us if you’d like to cancel your subscription. If you elect to cancel your Subscription, or let it lapse due to a lack of payment, your Subscription will be deemed terminated as of such date. In order to cancel your subscription, you must not have used PRCAP coverage for a crisis incident in the effective term and you must provide 30 days’ notice. If you have already used PRCAP coverage on a crisis incident and elect to cancel within the same Subscription term, you can be held liable for paying the full amount for Judge Public Relations services up to $295 an hour for services rendered.

Cancellation Policy
Judge Public Relations reserves the right to cancel or deny services for the following reasons:

  • Unpaid dues
  • Dishonest or false information provided to Judge Public Relations by the Subscriber
  • Inappropriate or illegal conduct, including but not limited to committing or threatening violence or being abusive to Judge Public Relations employees, customers or members of the media
